This small boat that I modified was powered by a small 1 amp brushed motor and a nickel cadmium battery. I however changed that and put in it a 22 amp brushless motor with a lithium polymer battery to power it. I then installed a digital radio system, a servo for steering and a 25 amp electronic speed controller(ESC).

Now the boat is much faster and has so much power to weight ratio.
